The Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza Strip said on Friday that necessary legal measures will be taken to investigate the attack on Palestine TV office.
Spokesman for the ministry Iyad al-Bazem strongly condemned the attack and renewed the ministry’s total rejection to such incidents.
For its part the government information office in Gaza denounced the incident and expressed solidarity with Palestine TV stuff.
We refuse any assault on media freedom the office said.
Earlier Friday unknown assailants raided the headquarters of the Palestine TV in Gaza City and destroyed a lot of the equipment available there.
