Scores of Palestinian civilians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces at predawn time on Thursday in abduction sweeps rocking the West Bank.
The Israeli military claimed responsibility for the abduction of eight Palestinians overnight on allegations of involvement in anti-occupation activities.
The campaign targeted Palestinians from Jenin Qalqilya Bethlehem and Ramallah.
At the same time Israeli patrols rolled into Ramallah’s northern town of Senjel and ravaged civilian homes before they stole money from the home of Palestinian citizen Nour Shabana.
Clashes burst out meanwhile in Jenin refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank shortly after full-armed Israeli soldiers raided the area and cracked down on the locals.
Bullet fire and acoustic grenades were randomly discharged by the occupation forces across residential alleyways.
The assault culminated in the abduction of two Palestinian young men from Jenin.
Overnight Israeli troops cordoned off Jenin’s town of Yabad and set up makeshift checkpoints allegedly after a home-made grenade was unleashed toward an Israeli patrol.
