The head of Hamas’s international relations office Dr. Mousa Abu Marzouk has condemned the Jewish settlers’ raid into Beita village and settlers’ incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In a press statement on Monday Abu Marzouk said that storming Beita village south of the West Bank city of Nablus by thousands of Jewish settlers would flare up the situation in the region.
Abu Marzouk held Israel responsible for the repercussions of facilitating the massive raid amid the escalated situation pointing out that Palestinian citizens suffer from the settlers’ attacks in the region.
“Such raids will not grant the Israeli occupation and its settlers any legitimacy” Abu Marzouk asserted calling on Palestinian people to unite and foil the settlement expansion plans.
Earlier today thousands of Jewish settlers stormed Mount Sabih located between the three Palestinian villages Qabalan Yatma and Beita south of Nablus demanding the legalization of the settlement outpost of Avitar.
