The head of Hamas’s international relations office Dr. Mousa Abu Marzouk on Sunday stressed that the Palestinian resistance will continue defending its people by all means possible until there will be no place for the invaders.
In a TV show on Russia Today channel Abu Marzouk said that the tense situation in the region is a natural outcome to the repeated Israeli attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
“Such brutal attacks will not go unnoticed” Abu Marzouk underlined holding the Israeli occupation responsible for the repercussions of the attacks.
Abu Marzouk reiterated his rejection of the calls to de-escalate resistance activities in Jerusalem and the West Bank pointing out that the Israeli brutal crimes against the Palestinian people lands and holy sites require a proper response.
“Calm in the West Bank and Gaza Strip could be achieved after the complete Israeli withdrawal from the occupied Palestinian territories” Abu Marzouq asserted.
He warned that the situation could escalate into a religious war calling on Arab and Muslim nations to assume their responsibility in defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque against the Israeli desecration.
