A Palestinian young man was arrested on Friday during a raid by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) north of the West Bank city of Nablus.
The IOF arrested the young man and severely beat him amid a violent quelling of a rally to commemorate the anniversary of Land Day in Huwara village.
Clashes were reported between Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers who attacked Palestinian protestors and the press crews who were covering the incident.
Meanwhile Clashes were reported between Palestinian youths and IOF soldiers who quelled the anti-settlement marches in several areas of the West Bank.
A number of Palestinian citizens were injured after IOF soldiers fired tear gas bombs and rubber-coated metal bullets at Palestinian protestors in Beita village in Nablus and Kafr Qaddum in Qalqilya.
Moreover a number of Palestinian citizens suffered breathing problems after the Israeli soldiers fired teargas bombs at Palestinian houses in Qaryut village south of Nablus to facilitate the Jewish settlers’ raid into the western area of the village.
