Dozens of armed Jewish settlers organized a provocative march in the Old City of al-Khalil on Saturday under protection of Israeli occupation forces (IOF).
SAFA news agency quoted Badr al-Da’ur one of the merchants in the Old City as saying that IOF soldiers closed all roads leading to the Old City’s markets and blocked Palestinian citizens from entering for one hour.
He pointed out that settlers usually storm the markets every Saturday led by extremist rabbis and carry out attacks on the inhabitants and their property under IOF protection.
