Hordes of extremist Jewish settlers carried out on Tuesday evening a new spate of attacks on Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources a group of armed settlers assaulted citizens in different neighborhoods in al-Khalil and its Old City and went on the rampage through their streets under military protection.
Settlers also wreaked havoc on a Palestinian-owned car and tried to attack a Mosque in Khan Shahin area in the Old City of al-Khalil.
Several citizens suffered injuries during the settler attacks in al-Khalil.
Meanwhile the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) closed the military checkpoints leading to several neighborhoods in the Old City for about two hours during a violent march organized by settler groups and obstructed the movement of local residents.
The IOF also kidnaped and assaulted three young men including two brothers during raids on homes in Bani Dar neighborhood in al-Khalil.
In Nablus two Palestinians were injured when settlers savagely attacked them with stones and sticks during their presence on swaths of land in an-Nasiriya area. Both of them were transferred to Rafidiya Hospital in Nablus City.
