The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out on Thursday morning a limited incursion into a border area east of Khan Yunis to the south of the Gaza Strip.
According to local sources nine armored vehicles advanced from a military post into a border area and started leveling and digging swaths of agricultural land while a drone was seen flying over the area.
The incident is the second of its kind in just 24 hours when five armored vehicles forced their way into a border area in the east of Khuza’a town south of Gaza yesterday.
The eastern border areas of Gaza are repeatedly exposed to Israeli military incursions and gunfire attacks. Such violations cause considerable damage to crops and prevent farmers from working their lands.
