Member of Hamas’s political bureau Ezzat al-Resheq has said that the Jewish settlers’ raid into Beita town on Monday in addition to their crimes committed on Sunday in Huwara town reveal the racist policies of the fascist Israeli government.
In a press statement Resheq underlined that Jewish settlers stormed Jabal Subeih near Beita town south of the West Bank city of Nablus and tried to establish a settlement outpost in the area adding that the Israeli government provides cover for the Jewish settlers’ crimes against the Palestinian people.
Resheq held the Israeli government responsible for the repercussions of the repeated settlers’ attacks warning that continued Israeli crimes will be met with more resistance activities.
He concluded that such Israeli violations will not weaken the Palestinian people’s determination affirming that the Palestinian people will continue defending their lands and holy sites against the repeated Jewish settlers’ attacks and Israeli crimes.
Earlier on Sunday hundreds of Jewish settlers protected by Israeli occupation forces attacked Palestinian citizens after storming several villages to the south of Nablus. They assaulted Palestinian citizens and set their vehicles and homes on fire killing a Palestinian citizen and injuring 400 others.
