Palestinian citizen injured homes burnt in settlers’ attack in Nablus

A Palestinian citizen was injured on Sunday evening after Jewish settlers carried out a series of attacks in the Huwara town south of the West Bank city of Nablus.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said that the citizen suffered several wounds after Jewish settlers stabbed him adding that he was transferred to Ibn Sina Hospital.

The mayor of Huwara Mo’een Damidi said that Jewish settlers attacked several Palestinian houses in the western and northern areas of the town.

He underlined that the settlers set three houses on fire two of which are still under construction adding that they destroyed a number of houses and a barracks in addition to attacking the Palestinian young man Moutaz al-Dik.

Jewish settlers carried out more than 700 attacks in the West Bank last January including destroying trees attacking Palestinian citizens and vandalizing their property.
