10 Palestinians arrested dozens injured in IOF raids in West Bank

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday arrested ten Palestinian citizens after quelling the anti-settlement march in the West Bank city of al-Khalil.

Local sources reported that IOF soldiers arrested ten Palestinian citizens and transferred them to a military checkpoint at the entrance of Shuhada’ street after storming the Bab al-Zawiya area in the center of al-Khalil.

Meanwhile IOF soldiers arrested the Palestinian child Abd Hamid 14 after storming Taquu town east of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.

Furthermore Israeli soldiers detained the director of the Bethlehem office of the Settlement and Wall Resistance Commission Hassan Breijeh after quelling the weekly anti-settlement march in Taquu.

Dozens of Palestinian citizens were injured after clashes erupted between Palestinian youths and the IOF following the anti-settlement marches in different areas of the West Bank.

IOF soldiers fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas bombs at Palestinian protestors to quell the anti-settlement marches in Beita and Beit Dajan villages in Nablus and in Kafr Qaddoum village in Qalqilya causing breathing problems to many Palestinian citizens.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that a Palestinian young man was injured by a tear gas bomb in the hand while dozens suffered breathing problems in Beit Dajan.

It added that two Palestinian young men and a foreign activist were injured in Kafr Qaddoum.

In another development a Palestinian young man was injured after Jewish settlers attacked him near the village of Burin south of Nablus.
