Hamas representative in Lebanon Ahmed Abdulhadi met in Beirut on Tuesday with Russia’s Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Rudakov and discussed latest Palestinian developments.
Abdulhadi briefed the Russian ambassador on the latest Israeli violations in Occupied Jerusalem including attempts to change its landmarks and to impose a new fait accompli on the Aqsa Mosque and the daily raids on Palestinian cities villages and refugee camps in the West Bank in addition to the ongoing siege on the Gaza Strip and the Israeli repeated assaults on Palestinian prisoners.
He said that the Israeli occupation forces were escalating their aggression on the Palestinian people in a failed attempt to end their resistance of occupation.
The Hamas official also talked about the conditions of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and efforts to alleviate their suffering due to the economic crisis in the country.
For his part the Russian ambassador welcomed the Hamas delegation asserting his country’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and called for Palestinian national unity.
