A Palestinian boy was arrested on Monday evening after he allegedly carried out a stabbing attack in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Israeli police arrested the Palestinian boy from the Al-Aqsa Mosque claiming that he stabbed a Jewish settler in the back at the Bab al-Silsila gate.
The gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque were blocked and it was stormed before arresting the boy. Meanwhile Israeli police intensified their presence in the Bab Al-Amoud area following the stabbing attack.
Israeli police have been on the alert since last Friday when three Jewish settlers were killed in a car-ramming resistance operation in the Ramot neighborhood in Occupied Jerusalem.
