At least 30 Palestinians were injured as clashes broke out in Jabal Al Mukaber in Occupied Jerusalem in protest against an Israeli plan to demolish five local homes on Monday.
The Palestinian Red Crescent in Jerusalem reported that 25 locals were hit by rubber-coated metal bullets and five others suffered from teargas inhalation during the clashes.
Earlier Saturday an Israeli court ordered the demolition of six Palestinian homes in Jabal Mukaber.
Early today the IOF forces stormed the town and surrounded the notified homes owned by Bashir family before violently attacking the family members including women. A young man was also arrested during the raid.
The Israeli forces managed to demolish one of the houses which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
The Israeli occupation authorities earlier threatened to demolish 280 local facilities in Jabal Al Mukaber under the pretext of being built without permit.
Late on Sunday evening dozens of Palestinians were injured as clashes broke out outside Al-Quds University in the Abu Dis town of Occupied Jerusalem after Israeli police raided the campus and fired teargas canisters.
Medical sources affirmed that 71 Palestinians suffered different injuries during the confrontations.
