The Israeli occupation police gave the family of martyr Hussein Qaraqe until 11:00 pm on Saturday February 11 to evacuate its home in the east Jerusalem town of at-Tur as a prelude to sealing it off.
According to local sources the Israeli police would seal off the house’s windows and entrances before demolishing it later.
For its part the Israeli magistrate court ordered the release of martyr Qaraqe’s parents on the same day and extended the detention of his brothers Ahmed and Mohamed until next Thursday. All of them were detained on Friday.
Martyr Hussein Qaraqe 31 was shot dead by police officers near the illegal settlement of Ramot in western Jerusalem on Friday after he rammed his car into Jewish settlers killing two of them and injuring five others. One of the wounded settlers was announced dead on Saturday.
In the same context an Israeli court ordered on Saturday six Jerusalemite citizens to evacuate their homes in Jabel Mukaber neighborhood as a prelude to demolishing it at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
