The Hamas Movement has condemned the attack carried out by hordes of Jewish settlers who climbed the walls of the headquarters of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem and removed the flag of the Patriarchate.
In a press statement on Sunday the Movement labeled the attack as “racist and provocative” stressing that it is covered by the fascist Israeli government that aims at obliterating the Islamic and Christian landmarks of Jerusalem.
The Movement called on the international community and human rights institutions to act urgently to stop the systematic and repeated Israeli violations against the churches in Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories.
It also called for prosecuting the Israeli leaders for their crimes against the Palestinian people lands and sanctities.
