The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and hordes of extremist Jewish settlers carried out on Sunday evening attacks on Palestinian citizens in different areas of the West Bank while a young man suffered a bullet injury during clashes in Ramallah.
According to local sources in Ramallah the IOF fired tear gas canisters and rubber and live bullets at Palestinian young men during clashes with them in Nabi Saleh village.
Several young men suffered from their exposure to tear gas while another one was injured by a bullet in his leg during the events in the village.
In Salfit dozens of settlers blocked the main road leading to Yasuf village and threw rocks at Palestinian vehicles. No one was reportedly injured in the attack but some cars sustained damage.
In al-Khalil the IOF detained and interrogated a number of citizens including journalist Ahmed Halayka at the entrance of Beit Ummar town in northern al-Khalil with no reported arrests.
Meanwhile a number of local youths responded to the recent Israeli escalation in the West Bank by throwing stones at a bus and a number of cars carrying settlers on a road near Beit Ummar town in northern al-Khalil.
Two days ago the IOF started to intensify its presence across the occupied West Bank set up makeshift checkpoints on roads and blocked entrances of several areas including the southern entrance of Jericho.
