The Israeli occupation police sealed off at dawn Sunday a Palestinian house in at-Tur neighborhood east of the Old City of Jerusalem belonging to the family of martyr Khairy Alqam as a prelude to demolishing it.
The Israeli measure came a few hours after the right-wing Israeli government decided to seal off and demolish the house of martyr Alqam who carried out the shooting operation that killed at least seven Jewish settlers and injured others in the illegal settlement of Neve Yaakov on Friday night.
A large number of Israeli police forces took over the house of Alqam on Saturday after detaining members of his family.
Since the beginning of the current year the Israeli occupation authority has demolished three Palestinian homes as part of a collective punishment policy used solely against families of Palestinians involved in carrying out attacks against soldiers and settlers.
