Israeli police storm Shuafat camp to raze home of martyr Tamimi

Israeli demolition crews escorted by a large number of police forces stormed on Wednesday morning Shuafat refugee camp in Occupied Jerusalem and started to knock down the house of martyr Uday at-Tamimi.

Footage circulated on social media websites showed police forces entering the camp in large numbers and cordoning off the area around the house of at-Tamimi family before demolition crews embarked on destroying its internal walls.

According to the Hebrew media 300 paramilitary police officers stormed the camp to demolish an apartment belonging to the family of Uday at-Tamimi.

The father of martyr Tamimi said in press remarks that Israeli demolition crews escorted by scores of troops started in the morning to demolish his apartment on the sixth floor of a building.

On October 19 2022 Uday at-Tamimi was killed by Israeli soldiers at the entrance of the illegal settlement of Maale Adumim near Occupied Jerusalem where he carried out his second shooting operation.

Tamimi had been sought by Israeli forces for 11 days at the time after he carried out his first shooting operation that killed a female soldier and injured another one at a checkpoint at the entrance of the Shuafat refugee camp in east Jerusalem on October 8.
