The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped last night and at dawn Sunday several Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank amid resistance operations in some areas.
According to the Palestinian Prisoner Society the IOF kidnaped a number of Palestinians overnight in different West Bank areas.
The Israeli occupation army for its part claimed that its forces arrested two Palestinian citizens and confiscated the car they were aboard and weapons found in their possession in the West Bank.
It added that its forces chased them after they opened fire at a military post near the Gush Etzion settlements.
The IOF also kidnaped a young university student from aboard a car after it stopped at the Huwara checkpoint in southern Nablus.
In Qalqilya Israeli troops stormed Azzun town and clashed with local youths who threw stones at their vehicles.
Meanwhile a group of resistance fighters opened fire at an Israeli army checkpoint near the illegal settlement of Shavei Shomron in Nablus.
Other shooting operations targeted the IOF checkpoints of Salem and Dotan and a gathering of Israeli soldiers near Muqeibla town in Jenin.
In another incident Palestinian youths reportedly threw several Molotov cocktails last night towards the entrance of Migdal Oz in southern Bethlehem.
15 resistance incidents including four shooting operations and three attacks with explosive devices took place across the West Bank during the past 24 hours according to different Palestinian media sources.
