A Jewish settler tried to run over four Palestinian children south of al-Khalil on Wednesday evening.
Local citizens Mamdouh Abu Tabikh affirmed that a settler riding a tractor went very quickly towards his four children aged between 1 and 7 years in the Al-Ain Al-Baida area in an attempt to run over them.
Fortunately the father managed at the last moment to push the children away.
The incident came only a few days after Israeli authorities notified Abu Tabikh of an order stipulating the demolition of his 170-square-meter home which houses his seven-member family.
Meanwhile a group of settlers organized a noisy party in the vicinity of the Ibrahimi Mosque in provocation to Palestinian residents.
Settlers have carried out increased attacks in the occupied West Bank over the past months injuring dozens of Palestinians amid heightened tensions in the area.
