Two Palestinian citizens were injured on Saturday evening when a horde of extremist Jewish settlers attacked homes in southern Bethlehem.
Local official Hasan Berejiya told WAFA news agency that a group of settlers hurled stones at Palestinian homes in Khilat an-Nahla area south of Bethlehem.
He added that two citizens including a 55-year-old woman were injured and transferred to Beit Jala Hospital for medical assistance.
Settler groups escalated their attacks recently on local residents and their property in an attempt to set up an outpost in the area.
