Israeli police arrested four Jerusalemite young men from the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its vicinity on Friday.
“Israeli police arrested two Jerusalemite young men in the Al-Aqsa courtyards in addition to two others at the gates of the holy site” local sources reported.
They added that the Israeli police interrogated a number of Jerusalemite youths and checked their ID cards while they were trying to reach the Al-Aqsa Mosque to perform the Friday prayer.
Since early dawn the Israeli police have been imposing restrictions on the movement of Muslim worshipers preventing them from reaching the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
