Hamas representative in Lebanon Ahmed Abdul-Hadi has asserted that his Movement will remain adherent to the path of resistance and liberation and its program that aims to serve the Palestinian people’s interests.
Abdul-Hadi made his remarks on Tuesday during a popular meeting held to mark the 35th founding anniversary of Hamas in Burj al-Barajneh refugee camp near the Lebanese capital Beirut.
The Hamas official said that his Movement works on ending the national rift in the Palestinian arena and alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and makes great efforts to defend Jerusalem and activate the resistance in the West Bank.
He stressed the need for the Palestinians from all spectra to work together to serve the Palestinian cause.
For his part Zuhair Jalloul deputy chief of the Burj al-Barajneh municipal council highlighted the historical importance of the Palestinian cause and the resistance’s role in defending the Palestinian rights.
