Member of Hamas Political Bureau Zaher Jabareen condemned the Israeli occupation authorities’ deportation of French-Palestinian human rights lawyer and ex-detainee Salah Al-Hamouri from his hometown in Jerusalem to France.
In a statement issued Sunday Jabareen considered such a move a continuation of the Israeli policy of ethnic cleansing and arrogance against the Palestinian people and all free voices.
He also affirmed that this arbitrary decision blatantly violates international norms and conventions condemning the international community’s double standard policy towards Israeli crimes.
Earlier Sunday the Israeli authorities deported the French-Palestinian lawyer and activist Al-Hamouri to France after he has been placed under administrative detention for nine months.
Al-Hamouri a Jerusalemite activist who worked at Addameer Human Rights Association spent 8 years in Israeli jails and was released in 2011 in Wafa al-Ahrar swap deal.
