Dozens of Palestinians took to the streets in Al-Amari refugee camp near Ramallah on Friday afternoon calling for Palestinian prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid’s immediate release.
The rally kicked off from the camp’s mosque after the Friday prayer.
Photos of the terminally ill prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid were raised during the protest amid calls for an international intervention for his unconditional release from Israeli jails.
The health condition of Abu Hamid has entered a very critical stage recently and keeps worsening every day.
Abu Hamid who has been battling death for several months in the Ramla jail infirmary was taken to a civilian hospital a few days ago following a sharp rise in his body temperature and a drop in his heart rate (bradycardia).
