The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) issued stop-work orders against 18 Palestinian residential structures and agricultural facilities west of the West Bank city of Salfit on Tuesday.
The head of the municipality of Qarawat Bani Hasan Ibrahim Assi said that the IOA issued stop-work notices against Palestinian houses that are still under construction agricultural rooms and factories in Qarawat Bani Hasan town in western Salfit.
Last week the IOA issued stop-work orders against 10 Palestinian homes in addition to other structures that are still under construction in the eastern and southern areas of Qarawat Bani Hasan town.
Last November Israeli soldiers and Jewish settlers carried out 833 attacks against Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank according to Settlement and Wall Resistance Commission. The IOA also demolished 70 Palestinian houses and structures in addition to bulldozing more than 797 dunums of agricultural lands in favor of settlement expansion in the same month it added.
