Palestinians in the occupied West Bank staged a general strike on Wednesday in mourning of the five martyrs who were killed by Israeli gunfire earlier Tuesday.
The Lions’ Den resistance group also called for a day of rage in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
“The martyrs’ blood will not go in vain and we will live up to every promise we made” the group added in a statement.
On Tuesday five Palestinians were killed by Israeli gunfire in separate incidents including two brothers.
Since the start of the year 207 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli occupation forces including five elderly people 13 women and 47 children.
