The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested six Palestinian fishermen off Rafah shores south of the Gaza Strip on Monday morning.
Local sources affirmed that IOF war boats seized two Palestinian fishing boats while sailing in the Rafah Sea and arrested six fishermen who were aboard.
Palestinian fishermen and their boats are frequently targeted by Israeli war boats and have restricted their access to the sea from time to time.
The number of Israeli violations against fishermen in the Strip reached 333 in 2021 including shooting arresting and sabotaging fishing equipment.
