The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank at dawn Thursday.

In Nablus the IOF violently stormed different neighborhoods in the city which led to the outbreak of armed clashes.

No injuries or arrests were reported during the clashes.

Also in Nablus the IOF troops stormed Asira Al-Shamaliya town and arrested a Palestinian after raiding his family house.

Seven other Palestinians were briefly detained in Qusra village south of Nablus before being released.

Three more Palestinians were rounded up in Jenin Tulkarem and al-Khalil including an ex-prisoner.

WEST BANK (PIC)– The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) carried out at dawn Saturday a large-scale raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank which led to the outbreak of violent clashes with local residents.

Local sources affirmed that Israeli forces arrested two Palestinians in al-Khalil after stopping and confiscating their car.

Israeli forces had also intensified their presence in different areas of the city and confiscated surveillance cameras of shops.

Road N. 60 north of the city was also closed restricting people’s movements in dozens of villages and towns south of the city.

Meanwhile violent clashes broke out in Bab al-Zawiya area in al-Khalil when Israeli forces heavily fired teargas bombs causing several teargas suffocation cases.

On the other hand Palestinian youths managed to throw a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli military watchtower erected at the entrance to Aida refugee camp.

In Nablus Israeli settlers closed Nablus-Qalqilia road and provocatively prevented Palestinian people’s movement in both directions.

In occupied Jerusalem violent clashes broke out in Qalandia refugee camp and Kafer Aqeb town after Israeli police forces violently stormed local homes.

A 19-year-old young man was arrested during the raid.
