A number of Palestinian citizens including a pregnant woman were injured on Tuesday evening during a raid by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) west of the West Bank city of Jenin.
“A Palestinian woman who is pregnant was injured after Israeli soldiers assaulted her” medical sources reported adding that four Palestinian citizens suffered breathing problems during an Israeli military raid in Burqin town in Jenin governorate.
Meanwhile the IOF arrested 16-year-old Mohammed Jarrar after storming his house in the town according to local sources.
For their part Palestinian youths hurled stones and fired at the IOF soldiers in Burqin and at the crossroads of Kafirat village southwest of Jenin.
Palestinian youths have been escalating their resistance activities in several areas of the West Bank in response to the ongoing Israeli aggression and the daily Jewish settlers’ incursions into Palestinian lands and holy places.
