An Israeli court ordered the administrative detention of the Palestinian detainee Hisham Bashkar on Sunday after he has been detained for two weeks.
“Salem military court issued an administrative detention order against Hisham for three months” family sources reported.
They added that Hisham was detained at the al-Karama crossing while he was on his way to perform Umrah.
Hisham from Askar refugee camp east of the West Bank city of Nablus is an ex-prisoner who had been held in Israeli jails and Palestinian Authority prisons more than once.
Earlier in 2020 Hisham was sentenced to a 55-day prison term after he was arrested at the military checkpoint of Za’tara south of Nablus.
