IOF launches raid arrest and demolition campaign in West Bank

Tuesday 8-November-2022

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched late Monday a large scale raid and arrest campaign throughout the West Bank.

At least four checkpoints were erected in the surrounding areas of Ramallah restricting the people’s movement.

Meanwhile two young men were detained in Tulkarem while a 17-year-old teen was rounded up at Beit El military checkpoint north of Al-Bireh while heading to visit his imprisoned brother in Megiddo prison.

Another Palestinian from Tubas was arrested while driving in the Jordan Valley.

In al-Khalil a young man was arrested after IOF erected several checkpoints.

On the other hand IOF demolished a two-storey house in Ramallah under the pretext of being built without permit which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.

Earlier Monday IOF demolished a bakery in Shuafat camp northeast of Jerusalem and arrested the young Mutassim al-Julani after storming his family house in the camp.

A group of Jewish settlers also damaged 60 olive trees in Jalud town south of Nablus after spraying them with chemical materials.
