The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Sunday a number of Palestinian citizens during campaigns in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
According to Asra Media Office the IOF kidnaped five ex-detainees during raids on homes in different areas of al-Khalil.
In Ramallah the IOF stormed al-Jalazon refugee camp and Jifna village and kidnaped two citizens from their homes.
In Jenin the IOF kidnaped a young man identified as Ahmed Masoud at the Barta’ah checkpoint.
Another citizen was taken prisoner following an IOF raid on his home in Qalandia refugee camp in the north of Occupied Jerusalem.
Meanwhile several Palestinian citizens suffered from their exposure to tear gas as they tried to fend off dozens of extremist Jewish settlers who stormed Hares village in the west of Salfit under military protection.
In east Jerusalem clashes reportedly took place between local youths and Israeli police forces in Silwan Issawiya Shuafat and Suwannah.
Local sources said that the clashes with police forces started in Silwan after a horde of settlers hurled stones at Palestinian vehicles in Bab al-Maghariba neighborhood.
Local sources also reported that some Palestinian property caught fire during a violent police raid on Ein Luza neighborhood in Silwan without providing further details.
In Issawiya local youths clashed with police officers at its main entrance.
In Suwannah skirmishes erupted after settlers attacked Palestinian homes while Palestinian young men clashed with Israeli soldiers at the checkpoint of Shuafat refugee camp.
Earlier on Saturday the IOF kidnaped a Palestinian citizen and his son in Tabban village in Masafer Yatta (south of al-Khalil) and a wounded citizen in Jenin.
According to local sources 48-year-old Nasser Abu Obeid and his son Louay were kidnaped from their home in Tabban village — whose entire residents are threatened with displacement.
The Israeli occupation army also informed on the same day the family of Dawoud al-Zubaidi from Jenin refugee camp that its son had been detained and transferred to a hospital in Israel (1948 occupied Palestine) in critical condition.
The detainee’s family for its part said that its son suffers from a serious bullet injury he sustained during an IOF raid in Jenin refugee camp on Friday.
