Dozens injured in West Bank clashes

Dozens of Palestinians taking part in anti-occupation protests after Friday prayers were injured in the occupied West Bank cities of Nablus and Qalqilia.

In Nablus clashes erupted in Beita and Beit Dajan towns during which several teargas inhalation cases were reported.

Four protesters were injured in Beit Dajan east of Nablus.

Clashes also broke out in Madama village south of Nablus after being attacked by a group of settlers under Israeli occupation forces’ (IOF) protection.

Similar settler attacks were carried out in Qaryut village which led to the outbreak of violent clashes amid heavy firing of teargas bombs by the IOF soldiers.

Another group of settlers from Yitzhar settlement attacked Palestinian homes in Burin village.

In Qalqilya the Israeli forces suppressed the weekly anti-settlement march in Kafr Qaddoum town. Dozens of citizens were treated for inhaling teargas fired by the IOF during the confrontations.

Dozens injured in West Bank clashes

Dozens of Palestinians were injured as clashes broke out in different areas of the occupied West Bank on Wednesday evening.

The clashes erupted in protest against the killing of four Palestinian young men during an Israeli raid in Jenin refugee camp.

At least 34 Palestinians were wounded in settler attacks in Madama village south of Nablus. The attacks were carried out under Israeli occupation forces’ protection.

Medical sources affirmed that the injuries included metal bullet wounds and teargas inhalation cases.

14 Palestinians were also injured in Qalqilya while another young man was seriously wounded in al-Bireh city.

Meanwhile two Palestinian children were detained south of al-Khalil and taken to an unknown detention center.

Along the same line the Israeli police forces arrested two girls the father and mother of the child detainee Mahmoud Sami Abu Al-Hawa from their home in Al-Tur town east of Occupied Jerusalem.

Earlier Wednesday four Palestinians were shot and killed and 44 others were injured after Israeli troops stormed Jenin refugee camp.

Dozens injured in West Bank clashes

Dozens of Palestinians were injured on Friday afternoon after Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) supressed the anti-occupation weekly protests across West Bank.

Israeli forces on Friday cracked down on a nonviolent protest near the village of Ras Karkar northwest of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank injuring dozens of local residents.

Rubber-coated rounds and teargas canisters were heavily fired to disperse the protesters who were performing Friday prayers on a land threatened with confiscation.

Several cases of suffocation from teargas inhalation reportedly occurred among the protesters.

Similar confrontations were reported in Kafer Qadum village east of Qalqilia after IOF brutally attacked its weekly anti-settlement protest.

Meanwhile a 12-year-old Palestinian child was injured on Friday when he was hit by the shrapnel of a stun grenade fired by Israeli soldiers at Palestinian protesters in the village of Ni’iln to the west of Ramallah.

In al-Khalil at least five Palestinians suffered from tear-gas inhalation including a minor and an elderly man after IOF suppressed an anti-occupation rally.

Dozens injured in West Bank clashes

Violent clashes erupted on Friday afternoon between Palestinian citizens and the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in different West Bank provinces.

Dozens of Palestinians organized a peaceful demonstration near al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem in protest at the Israeli excavations being carried out in Bab al-Rahma cemetery in favor of Judaization projects.

The Israeli police forces heavily fired teargas canisters and sound bombs to disperse the protesters and arrested four Palestinian youths.

The police further assaulted the journalists who were covering the event smashed some of their cameras and equipment forced them out of the area and deployed hundreds of policemen in the vicinity of the cemetery.

Meanwhile a number of Palestinians were injured in clashes at the northern entrance to al-Bireh city following Friday prayer.

The IOF soldiers attacked the Palestinian protesters with live ammunition rubber-coated metal bullets and teargas canisters.

Another popular demonstration was launched in Bil’in village near Ramallah against the settlement and the latest US decisions regarding Jerusalem. The demonstrators raised Palestinian flags and called for achieving national unity.

Other confrontations were witnessed in Bab al-Zawiya area in al-Khalil during which many Palestinian citizens suffered breathing difficulties after they were showered with teargas canisters.

Two Palestinian youths were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets while dozens chocked on teargas after the IOF quelled a popular demonstration in Kafr Qaddum east of Qalqilya launched in protest at the US Jerusalem move.

The IOF soldiers reportedly violently attacked the journalists who were present to cover the protest and drove them out of the place.
