The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested three Palestinians in West Bank pre-dawn raids on Friday.

Israeli army claimed that three ‘wanted’ Palestinians were arrested at dawn Friday.

Local sources affirmed that a young man was detained after IOF stormed his family house in Askar refugee camp east of Nablus while two others were rounded up in Masafer Yatta in al-Khalil including a 16-year-old boy.

Local sources told the PIC reporter that the young detainees were 17 years old and were identified as Mohammad Shami and Abdullah Abdulhalim. They had been missed since Thursday after they exited their schools.

The Palestinian-Israeli liaison on Friday informed their families who were looking for them that their sons have been arrested by IOF since yesterday with no further information.

In a similar context IOF soldiers arrested on Friday the Palestinian activist against settlement Issa Amer at a military checkpoint near al-Haram al-Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil’s Old City.

The three detainees had earlier been jailed for nearly five months in PA jails for allegedly planning attacks against Israeli targets. They were engaged in an open hunger strike before their release.

Meanwhile a number of local residents suffered breathing problems in Qabatia town after Israeli forces stormed the town for the third time overnight amid heavy firing of teargas bombs.

A young man was detained during the raid which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.

Military checkpoints were erected at the entrance to Qabatia while all roads leading to Salfit city were closed.

Israeli Army declared the arrest of two Palestinian youths from Jalazoun refugee camp and another young man from Yatta town south of al-Khalil for allegedly being “wanted.”

The three detainees were taken to unknown investigation centers.
