The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested at dawn Friday three Palestinian citizens after breaking into different areas in the West Bank.
0404 Hebrew website said that Israeli forces arrested three “wanted” Palestinians for being allegedly involved in anti-occupation attacks.
The sources claimed that an M16 rifle was found during the Israeli raids into different Palestinian homes in Qabatia town south of Jenin.
Limited clashes broke out in the town after IOF soldiers arrested a local young man during the raid.
A second arrest was reported as Israeli forces stormed al-Khalil.
Similar raids were carried out in Bethlehem; however no arrests were reported.
A young man was also taken from his house in al-Bireh after being brutally attacked in front of his family members.
The three detainees had earlier been jailed for nearly five months in PA jails for allegedly planning attacks against Israeli targets. They were engaged in an open hunger strike before their release.
Meanwhile a number of local residents suffered breathing problems in Qabatia town after Israeli forces stormed the town for the third time overnight amid heavy firing of teargas bombs.
A young man was detained during the raid which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
Military checkpoints were erected at the entrance to Qabatia while all roads leading to Salfit city were closed.
