The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) in Jerusalem decided on Monday to banish two Palestinian activists residents of 1948 occupied Palestine from the Aqsa Mosque.
Activist Hudhayfa Abu Hani said that the Israeli police phoned him and informed him of a decision banning his entry to the Aqsa Mosque until further notice.
The Israeli police also handed activist Umayyah Abu Shakrah a verdict banishing her from the Aqsa Mosque for 10 days.
Abu Shakrah was arrested on Sunday in the Old City after police officers prevented her and other Palestinian women from entering the Aqsa Mosque.
As part of an Israeli plan aimed at curtailing the presence of Palestinians at the Aqsa Mosque hundreds of Palestinians from 1948 occupied Palestine recently received orders barring them from the Islamic holy site for different periods.
