The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) bulldozed on Saturday swaths of annexed Palestinian land in northern Salfit in the occupied West Bank to expand the cemetery of Ariel settlement.
Local farmers who were allowed today to reach their nearby lands said that the Ariel municipality resumed the bulldozing of tracts of land between the separation wall and the illegal settlement in order to expand its cemetery.
Despite the small numbers of buried settlers in the illegal settlements of the West Bank the IOA continues to expand and build cemeteries for Jewish settlers.
The building of cemeteries in the occupied West Bank is believed to be aimed at seizing more Palestinian lands and strengthening the Jewish lies and myths about Israel’s promised land.
