IOF raids homes kidnaps citizens in W. Bank and J’lem

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped on Tuesday a number of Palestinian citizens from the West Bank and Jerusalem and raided homes belonging to MP Fathi Qar’awi and his sons in Nur Shams refugee camp near Tulkarem City.

MP Qar’awi said in press remarks that the IOF raided at dawn his home and his sons’ houses in the camp one day after they kidnaped his son Hamza at a makeshift checkpoint on the Nablus Tulkarem road.

The IOF also raided homes in several villages and towns of Jenin and kidnaped a citizen from his home in Kafr Ra’i town.

In east Jerusalem Israeli police forces kidnaped at dawn four citizens from at-Tur town and another one from the Old City. Clashes between local youths and police forces broke out in at-Tur town.

Several Palestinians were also kidnaped by the Israeli police from the Aqsa Mosque and the Old City of Jerusalem on Tuesday morning.

Last night police officers kidnaped a Jerusalemite citizen from his home in Silwan district south of the Aqsa Mosque.

The IOF also stormed last night the West Bank villages of Rummanah Zububa Anin and Taybeh patrolled their streets and set up checkpoints.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Wednesday kidnaped several Palestinian citizens including ex-detainees in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

According to local sources the IOF kidnaped journalist Waleed Khaled from his home in Iskaka town east of Salfit. He had spent a total of 20 years in Israeli jails.

In Nablus the IOF kidnaped three citizens from their homes in Beita town. They were identified as Baraa Adili Salem Hamayel and his brother Salim Hamayel.

The IOF also kidnaped three young men from their homes in Awarta town (southeast of Nablus) Tulkarem refugee camp and Dinnaba suburb in Tulkarem City.

In al-Khalil the IOF kidnaped two ex-detainees identified as Mohamed Zeitoun and Mohamed Arafat from ash-Shuyukh town two others identified as Tayseer Hafed and Amer al-Ja’bari from al-Khalil City and Imad Arziqat from Taffuh town.

In Jerusalem a young man called Omar Muhaisen was kidnaped from his home in Shuafat refugee camp.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Wednesday raided homes and kidnapped citizens in different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.

A press release issued by the Israeli army said its forces arrested four wanted Palestinian citizens in the West Bank and transferred them to a Shin Bet interrogation center.

Local sources for their part affirmed that an Israeli military force kidnapped three teenagers under age 18 during violent raids on homes in Beit Fajjar town south of Bethlehem city.

The detainees were identified as Ahmed Ziyad Yaser Zaid and Ahmed Sami.

In al-Khalil city a citizen called Mahmoud Jaber was taken prisoner during an IOF campaign.

In Occupied Jerusalem the Israeli police kidnapped five Palestinians from their homes in Silwan district south of the Aqsa Mosque.

They were identified as Mohamed Odeh Islam al-Awar Majd al-Awar Fouad al-Qaq and Ziyad al-Qaq.

In Qalqiliya city Israeli troops raided at dawn several homes which triggered violent clashes with local young men.

Local sources said that soldiers confiscated some security camera equipment and recordings during their campaign in the city.

The sources expressed their belief that the Israeli army seeks to identify the Palestinians who opened fire at soldiers in a nearby checkpoint area on Tuesday.
