A fire broke out in a Palestinian house on Sunday during a raid by the Israeli police in Silwan town south of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli police fired tear gas bombs and stun grenades at Palestinian citizens’ homes in Ein al-Luza and Abu Tayeh neighborhoods burning a house belonging to the Jerusalemite Nour Abu Tayeh and causing breathing problems to several others according to local sources.
In a related development the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) blocked the entrance of Nabi Saleh village in the West Bank city of Ramallah imposing restrictions on the movement of Palestinian citizens.
The incident triggered clashes between Palestinian youths and IOF soldiers. No injuries were reported.
Moreover local sources reported that the IOF arrested a Palestinian young man at a makeshift checkpoint set at the entrance of the West Bank city of al-Bireh without giving information about his identity.
