Several Palestinians were injured two of them with live ammunition while a third was arrested when a group of Jewish settlers attacked Sinjel town northeast of Ramallah under military protection on Friday evening.

Eyewitnesses reported that the settlers attacked local residents in their agricultural lands which are threatened with confiscation and caused damage to 6 vehicles.

The settler attack was carried out under Israeli occupation forces’ protection which led to the outbreak of clashes.

Israeli troops fired teargas bombs and live ammunition during the clashes injuring two young men with live shots and others with rubber-coated metal bullets.

Dozens others also suffered from teargas inhalation while three youths were attacked with rifle butts.

The sources pointed out that a young man was also detained during the events.

Meanwhile an Israeli military vehicle was set on fire after being targeted with a Molotov cocktail as clashes erupted in Azzun town in Qalqilia.

Several Palestinians including an infant were injured in a settler attack in Duma town southeast of Nablus at dawn Friday.

Head of Duma village council Suleiman Dawabsheh affirmed that a group of Jewish settlers deployed in large numbers at the western entrance to the town and started attacking Palestinian vehicles passing by.

The settlers violently attacked a car and pepper sprayed a Palestinian family on board. A three-month-old baby was among the injured.

Two other men were severely beaten and pepper-sprayed during the attack.

The attack was carried out under military protection Dawabsheh added.
