The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained on Thursday one Palestinian activist and three journalists during their presence in the Old City of al-Khalil.
Local activist Aref Jaber said that Israeli soldiers detained him along with three journalists as they were doing some photography work in Jaber neighborhood near the Ibrahimi Mosque.
He added that the soldiers seized their ID cards and prevented them from leaving the area before they were questioned.
In Ramallah the IOF detained Palestinian citizens and school students for a while in the morning at the western entrance of Silwad town.
Local sources said that cars carrying citizens and students were intercepted and searched by the IOF at a makeshift checkpoint on the western road leading to Silwad.
