Israeli gunboats opened machinegun fire at Palestinian fishing boats off the southern coast of Gaza Strip on Monday morning.
Local sources said that the shooting forced the Palestinian fishermen working off the Rafah and Khan Younis governorates to return ashore.
Israeli navy boats harass Palestinian fishermen on daily basis damaging their boats confiscating their tools and/or arresting them.

GAZA (PIC)– Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishermen while at work off the coast of northern Gaza at dawn Wednesday.
Quds Press quoted Palestinian sources as saying that a number of Israeli gunboats intercepted Palestinian fishing boats off Sudaniya area and fired projectiles and opened machinegun fire at them.
They said that the fishermen were forced to abandon their boats and head to land to avoid the Israeli gunfire.
