Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at Palestinian shepherds east of the central Gaza Strip on Friday.

According to the PIC correspondent Israeli soldiers stationed in military watchtowers east of the central Gaza Strip opened their heavy machine-gun fire and fired tear gas bombs at Palestinian shepherds forcing them to leave the grazing area to the east of Deir al-Balah city.

The IOF deliberately opens fire towards agricultural lands in the Gaza border areas on a daily basis imposing restrictions on Palestinian shepherds and preventing them from grazing their sheep which is their sole source of livelihood.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked on Tuesday morning a group of Palestinian shepherds in the Gaza Strip with no reported casualties.

Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition and tear gas grenades from watchtowers at shepherds and swaths of cultivated land in the east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.

Luckily all the shepherds escaped unhurt from the area.

Under an inhumane siege the Israeli army keeps attacking — sometimes injuring or killing — farmers and fishermen almost on a daily basis without any shred of respect for the mediated ceasefire deals in Gaza or even the international law.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked on Thursday morning Palestinian shepherds in the east of Beit Hanoun town north of the besieged Gaza Strip.

According to local sources Israeli soldiers opened machinegun fire from watchtowers at a group of shepherds and showered them with tear gas in an agricultural area in the east of Beit Hanoun.

No one was reportedly hurt in the IOF attack but the intensity of the shooting and tear gas forced the shepherds to leave the targeted area.
