The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) allowed 40 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to visit their relatives held in Israeli Nafha jail on Tuesday.
Spokeswoman for the Red Cross Suhair Zaqout confirmed that the Committee has organized a visit for the Gaza prisoners’ families.
40 relatives of 25 prisoners were packed into buses organized by the Red Cross and headed to the Nafha desert prison through the Israel-controlled Erez crossing in the northern Gaza Strip the Red Cross spokeswoman clarified.
4550 Palestinians are held in Israeli jails including 27 women 175 children and 670 administrative detainees.
