Deputy Director of the Jerusalem Islamic Waqf Council Sheikh Najeh Bakirat on Monday stressed that Jerusalemites will remain steadfast in spite of the repeated Israeli violations of their right of residence and education.
“One of the most important reasons for the steadfastness of Jerusalemites is their unity while resisting the Israeli crimes” Sheikh Bakirat said in a statement adding that resistance is the only means to achieving victory.
Sheikh Bakirat confirmed that the heinous crime of setting fire to Al-Aqsa Mosque 53 years ago beside being a reason for Palestinians’ sadness will remain a testament to the Zionist extremist groups’ terrorism and never-ending attacks against the holy site.
He hailed the Jerusalemite youths who have been confronting and still are the Israeli crimes and protecting Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Israeli desecration.
