Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya on Tuesday phoned Secretary General of the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Chakib Kaid and briefed him on details of the recent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Haneyya briefed Kaid on the Israeli crimes committed during the aggression including the assassination of Islamic Jihad commanders in addition to killing more than 40 Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip. He added that Israel has also been escalating its violations against the Palestinian people and holy sites in the West Bank.
He hailed the Algerian positions which supported the Palestinian people’s rights calling for activating the role of Algerian diplomacy to confront the Israeli crimes committed against the Palestinian people.
For his part Kaid voiced his country’s complete support for the Palestinian people until the full liberation of the Palestinian lands.
