Israeli police quelled a rally organized in Occupied Jerusalem on Saturday evening in protest at the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Jerusalemite sources reported that the Israeli police assaulted Palestinian protesters who demonstrated in the Bab al-Amud area in support of the Palestinian people and resistance in Gaza.
Following the start of the rally Israeli police arrested the Jerusalemite young man Hisham Abu Shamsia in Bab al-Amud transferring him to an unknown detention center.
Earlier today dozens of Palestinians from 1948 Occupied Palestine participated in two protests at the entrances of Umm al-Fahm and Haifa cities condemning the Israeli attack against Palestinians in Gaza.
Palestinian activists had called for supporting Palestinian people and resistance after Israel launched its new aggression against the Gaza Strip on Friday evening which killed 25 Palestinians and wounded scores others in a series of aerial strikes.
