The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) destroyed on Sunday morning a Palestinian fishing boat after attacking it off the coast of Rafah area in the south of the besieged Gaza Strip.
According to eyewitnesses one fishing boat sustained considerable damage and went up in flames when Israeli gunboats fired machine guns and projectiles at a number of fishing boats off the shores of Rafah.
There is still no information about the fate of the fishermen who were aboard the boat.
Meanwhile the IOF attacked a sewage vehicle in the southeast of Gaza.
Local sources said that Israeli troops fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at a sewage vehicle in the east of Khuza’a town with no reported casualties.
Under an inhumane siege the Israeli army keeps attacking — sometimes injuring or killing — farmers and fishermen almost on a daily basis with no regard for any mediated ceasefire deal in Gaza or even the international law.
