The Israeli occupation police banished the Jerusalemite activist Nidal Seyam from the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Thursday.
Seyam’s family told Quds Press that the Israeli police summoned Nidal for investigation in al-Qashla interrogation center in the Old City of Jerusalem and served him a renewable banishment order for one week.
“Nidal’s home in the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood had been repeatedly stormed” his family underlined adding that he had been detained and held in the Israeli police stations more than once.
The family added that Nidal had been banished from the Al-Aqsa Mosque for several times for different which ranged from one week to five months.
Israeli police deliberately keep Palestinian activists and influential figures away from the Al-Aqsa Mosque to facilitate entry of Jewish settlers and to pave the way for its Judaization.
